Sunderland will be looking to continue their fine start to life in League One this season when they face AFC Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow on Saturday.
Jack Ross’ side are yet to taste defeat, with three wins and one draw from their opening four games and are coming off the back of an impressive 4-1 victory against Gillingham in midweek.
Bryan Oviedo will be available with the clash against Wimbledon after he missed the clash with Gillingham following a knock he received in their win against Scunthorpe United.
However, Adam Matthews is likely to miss out for the Wearsiders, as he continues to struggle with an injury he picked up.
Ross also revealed that Charlie Wyke and Tom Flanagan are working their way back from respective injuries and stated that they are close to being involved with the squad.
Sunderland will be pleased to have Oviedo back available for their away day to Wimbledon on Saturday.
The full-back has plenty of experience and can be an attacking threat heading down the wing, which will cause the Dons some concern.
The Black Cats will also be delighted with the news that Wyke and Flanagan are both edging closer to being involved with the first-team.
