Sunderland currently find themselves in a promising position to really kick on and secure promotion straight back to the Championship.
The Black Cats have been a force to be reckoned with in the current campaign as Jack Ross’ summer signings continue to have a positive impact on proceedings.
So, with the January transfer window almost here, the Wearside club will be hoping that Stewart Donald can work his magic once again next month. The Black Cats have struggled to turn one point into three on a number of occasions this season, so it’s clear to see improvements are required at this stage.
With that in mind, Jack Ross can secure the League One title if Donald empties his pockets to sign these TWO players…
Lyle Taylor is enjoying an incredible first season at Charlton Athletic, with 12 goals and four assists to his name.
The Black Cats could receive interest from clubs higher up the Football League and possibly even from the Premier League for Josh Maja in January, with a new deal still yet to be signed.
So, Ross should turn to another League One side to secure the services of Taylor, a player that can guarantee a consistent flow of goals at the pinnacle of the attack.
Glen Kamara has been one of the shining lights in the Scottish Premiership this season. He continues to boss the middle of midfield at current club Dundee, with two of his strongest attributes being his strength and passing.
Sunderland already have the likes of Bali Mumba, Lee Cattermole, Max Power, and Dylan McGeouch at their disposal, but bringing Kamara to the club would offer them a different dynamic completely as he has the ability to influence the game in all areas of the field.
