Dream November: Sunderland - League One
Sunderland have been one of the form teams in League One so far this season, but there’re definitely improvements to be had if they want to enjoy automatic promotion.

The Black Cats are the team to beat in League One at this moment in time, with three points in their game in hand taking them to the top of the table.

Indeed, the League One club certainly made the most of the summer transfer window, and it’s fair to say that it has more than paid off in the current campaign. But, it’s all about whether the players can ensure consistency from here on in, with an impressive month helping them get to where they want to be.

Interestingly, the month of November may decide Sunderland’s fate as they have the opportunity to mount a lead at the top of the table, but things could also go horribly wrong at the same time.

With that in mind, here is the dream November for the Black Cats…

Chris Maguire has been the form man for Sunderland in recent times having found the back of the net on a number of occasions, and even won the EFL’S Goal of the Month award for September.

Indeed, the forward will play a massive part in the club’s promotion push and has even outplayed the impressive Josh Maja, who has struggled for form in recent times.

So, Sunderland will be heavily reliant upon Maguire to fire them into a promising position this month, with three more goals from the Scotsman being a luxury for the Black Cats.

Sunderland would love nothing more than to enjoy automatic promotion straight back to the Championship, but they just haven’t been able to claim pole position just yet.

The Black Cats arguably have the strongest squad in the division and are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions, so they’re certainly heading in the right direction.

Jack Ross’ side will be very hard to catch if they manage to secure pole position in the race for promotion, with an unassailable lead possibly being achieved in November.
