Josh Maja’s future at Sunderland has become a talking point in the north-east for some time.
The 20-year-old has been excellent for the Black Cats this season, having netted 15 goals in his 29 appearances so far.
However, the exciting prospect is yet to agree to a new contract on Wearside and it is understood that he will not sign a new deal either.
And, that decision appears to have led to a number of clubs being linked with a potential move for Maja.
According to Alan Nixon, who is a reliable journalist for The Sun, has stated that the striker has become the latest English talent to attract interest from Germany.
SUNDERLAND. Maja being chased in Germany. Agent very strong over there after Sancho success. Free in summer and better wages than in England. By a mile.

He has also stated that the player would have the chance to earn better wages in the country compared to staying in England.
Maja’s representatives have a strong influence with clubs in the Bundesliga, with clients such as Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson on their books.
The possibility of Maja leaving Sunderland at the end of the season looks even likelier as the days go by.
With the way Sancho and Nelson playing as they are in Germany, a move to the Bundesliga could be too tempting for the 20-year-old to turn down.
The wages could also be a major influence in his decision, however, it remains to be seen if the exciting prospect could decide to make a switch across Europe.
