Man United wary of Pogba treatment as Sunderland close in

The punters at the Football Transfer Tavern who support Sunderland have been patiently waiting for signings and after they got Papy Djilobodji from Chelsea, it looks as though they could be getting a player from another top team.

According to the Daily Mail, David Moyes is looking to his former club Manchester United and their talented 21-year old midfielder Adnan Januzaj.

The Black Cats boss did enquire about getting the Belgium international on a permanent deal, but has reportedly been told that he can only have him on loan, to prevent them having to pay inflated buy back prices, as they had to with Paul Pogba.

Those on Wearside are also thought to be chasing Januzaj’s team mates, Paddy McNair and Donald Love, with a fee reported to be agreed for the pair.

Moyes only has a few days until the Premier League opener and so he will be hoping to get his targets in as quickly as possible and get them settled in.

Can Moyes get the best out of Januzaj? Could he flourish in the North East? Let us know below..
