Sunderland fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are hoping their new boss can bring in fresh faces ahead of the new season following their recent string of injuries.
According to the Express, David Moyes is looking to bring in Adnan Januzaj and Will Keane from Manchester United as he only has 11 first-team players fit.
Jan Kirchhoff and Billy Jones have joined Jack Rodwell, Patrick van Aanholt and Jermaine Defoe on the treatment table, who are huge blows to the Black Cats.
The former Red Devils chief has also been linked with a move for Marouane Fellaini, having signed him twice in his career already, though circulating reports suggest the Belgian would snub a move to the North East.
Moyes has already confirmed that they have put numerous bids in for a number of players but he is under increased pressure with the Premier League season kicking off on 13th August.
Punters in the Tavern fear that clubs will take advantage of Sunderland’s desperate situation and make them pay over the odds for their targets.
