Sunderland and Swansea eyeing £9m forward battle

According to The Mirror, Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa is a transfer target for Sunderland and Swansea with our Foxes fans here in the Transfer Tavern thinking it could be time for him to go.

The Argentine striker has been part of the side for some years with and helped them win the Premier League title last season but has been left out of the team for large portions of the campaign this time around.

Players like Islam Slimani and Ahmed Musa are now ahead of him in the pecking order after they both signed in the summer and so it looks as though a move could be on the cards.

Both Sunderland and Swansea are on six points at the bottom of the Premier League and have struggled for goals this year. The Black Cats have only got Jermain Defoe as a regular scorer whilst the Swans have seen new signings Borja Baston and Fernando Llorente fail to impress so far this season.

Both relegation candidates are reportedly casting keen eyes over the £9m-rated forward as the January window fast approaches.
