The Sunderland fans in the Transfer Tavern are joyfully throwing darts on the dartboard, as some new faces could soon be coming to The Stadium Of Light.
The Sunderland Echo reports that Sunderland are tracking Steven Caulker and Neven Subotic.
The latter has found first team opportunities difficult this season at Borussia Dortmund after a campaign blighted by injury and is reportedly keen to move to the Premier League.
Stoke City are also understood to retain an interest in the 27-year old, while he has previously been linked with Liverpool to link back up with former boss Jurgen Klopp.
Caulker, meanwhile, currently has two years left on his contract with QPR and has recently had mixed loan spells with Southampton and Liverpool.
However given the fact that both loan were unsuccessful, the Wearside outfit may be able to land him for a cut-price deal of £4.5m.
Crystal Palace and Newcastle have also been linked with moves for the one time England international.
Sam Allardyce has prioritised defensive investment in the summer as Wes Brown is set to leave when his contract expires.
Sunderland Fans… Who would you sign in the summer? Would Subotic and Caulker be good additions to Sunderland?
