Sunderland are continuing their efforts to make their squad strong enough to compete for promotion from League One.
The Black Cats have had a disastrous number of years recently and will be working hard to get the club back to where many feel they belong.
Things have already started to improve for the Stadium of Light outfit this summer with the change of ownership and a new manager, who has already been able to convince a number of new faces to join them in their efforts to get back to the second-tier.
However, it appears that Jack Ross has not finished his transfer business just yet and according to reports, he is looking at pursuing an ambitious loan deal for a Premier League talent.
Sunderland are keen to add firepower to their squad and the Sunderland Echo are claiming that Watford’s Jerome Sinclair is on their radar, whilst they look to add a couple of men to a position that looks extremely light.
Sinclair would be a solid signing for the Black Cats this summer as he would be looking to get his career back on track following a tough time at Watford.
The striker joined the Vicarage Road outfit from Liverpool in 2016 but has failed to make a real impact at the Hornets, whilst Sunderland would provide him with the perfect opportunity to get going again.
It remains to be seen if the Premier League side will be willing to loan him out to the League One outfit, although Sunderland would have a huge deal on their hands as Sinclair could be the difference to helping fire them back to the Championship.
