Sunderland head to MK Dons this weekend as they look to keep themselves in the fight for the play-off places in Sky Bet League One.
The Black Cats have had an excellent run in recent weeks and that has seen them climb the table significantly to near where they want to be.
A 4-0 win over Wycombe has underlined their credentials and now they’ll look to build on that as they take on MK Dons.
Plenty to be hopeful about at the club at the moment, then, but they won’t be getting ahead of themselves given the woes that they have gone through in recent years.
In the next couple of weeks, meanwhile, fans will want to see new players come in during the January window and fans are speculating that Bristol City man Bailey Wright could well be the next to arrive after the weekend:
"The Sunderland boss had hoped to make his next addition on Wednesday, but a late injury at the player’s current club has led to a delay." Baker (CB) got injured in Bristol City’s game on Tuesday night – went off in the 39th minute.
So… Bailey Wright, then? https://t.co/t7qOAyBP15

Let’s take a look, then, at what has been said about this on Twitter:
Yep. Feel we do need cover for Hume as well. And if we got someone with some real pace playing in one of the two roles Maguire and Gooch occupy we'd have had a great window.

I think if we got him on few year contract be better as lynch loan spell end at end of season

Hopefully it's some qaulity coming in to help with promotion

definitely seems to be Bailey Wright judging by the description of Baker's injury.

Used to watch Bristol City a lot when I lived there, and Bailey Wright is solid. Big strong defender, good in the air, and a leader. Not quick, but with a central three that’s not so important. Would replace Ozturk IMO
