Sunderland: Fans react as two directors join the club

Sunderland are certainly stuck in the mire at the moment with them getting cut adrift of the play-off places and looking well short of confidence and momentum.
Indeed, the knives are certainly out for Phil Parkinson at the moment with the way that he has performed so far as manager of the club and it seems fair to assume that the pressure is going to be on him unless for some time they embark on a real run of wins in the next few weeks.
With that in mind, then, the Black Cats are scratching around for some good news and it seems as though they have been given some.
Two non-executive directors have come in in the form of fans Tom Sloanes and Sky Sports’ David Jones and Black Cats supporters certainly seem pleased to see two of their own in key positions at the club.
Let’s take a look at the reaction to the arrivals on Twitter:
Really positive this. More in that care deeply about the club is only a good thing. More of this please

Aside from my usual replies to SAFC tweets, this does look like a positive. Curious exactly what Dave Jones gonna do.
