Sunderland have completed the signing of Northern Ireland international Corry Evans on a two-year deal [Sunderland AFC Official].

Most recently of Sky Bet Championship side Blackburn Rovers, the Belfast-born anchor man made 18 appearances for the Ewood Park outfit last campaign [Transfermarkt].

Following the conclusion of his contract at Rovers, he has now elected to move north to the Stadium of Light as the Black Cats seek to get out of the English third-tier on the fourth attempt.
