Sunderland are in the middle of more strife at the moment as they continue to look for some form and confidence that can help get them up the Sky Bet League One table.
The Black Cats have been struggling for some time this season and that first saw Jack Ross lose his job.
His replacement, Phil Parkinson, hasn’t exactly managed to shake things up since, though, and the pressure is also growing on him as the side heads towards the Christmas period.
Up next immediately, is Blackpool this weekend in a game that the Wearsiders really need to win but not long after that we’ll soon be thinking about the January transfer window.
And, by the looks of things, winger Aiden McGeady could well be heading out of the club during that window.
Quoted by the Black Cats’ official Twitter account, Parkinson had this to say about the winger:
PP: ‘We've spoke to Aiden about January and moving on, and I think it's fair to tell him now to give him an opportunity to sort something out. It gives me an opportunity to concentrate on the team going forward and I feel it's the best decision.’ #SAFC pic.twitter.com/56qm2tPZlg

And that prompted this response on the social media site:

Get Parkinson out now! Destroying the club, along with Donald

I’ve got a better idea. McGeady tells Parkinson to move on instead.

The club is prepared to lose probably our most creative player over a Maccy Dee's?
We are a complete laughing stock.
Seriously, just delete this account and liquidate!
