Sunderland’s fall from grace has been unbelievable, falling from the Premier League to the third division in two seasons.
The Black Cats suffered consecutive relegations under the guidance of David Moyes, Simon Grayson and Chris Coleman.
Their first campaign in League One was respectable, finishing fifth and qualifying for the play-off final, only to be beaten by Charlton Athletic.
Another poor start to the season cost Jack Ross his job as manager, with former Bradford and Bolton manager Phil Parkinson coming into the hot seat at the Stadium of Light.
Parkinson won promotion from League One with Wanderers, but he hasn’t been able to propel Sunderland up the table, with the club sitting 11th, five points adrift of the play-offs.
He’s guided the club to a rather unfortunate record, with Parkinson becoming the first Sunderland manager to ever lose six away games in a row.
Understandably, their fans aren’t too happy with this record, here’s how some of them reacted:
Sack him now
