Sunderland: Fans were in awe of Denver Hume’s performance

Many Sunderland fans were left in awe of Denver Hume on Saturday after they witnessed his latest performance out on the field for the Black Cats.
The Mackems appear to have turned things around under Phil Parkinson after they extended their unbeaten run to six games with their third win in three of those fixtures against Wycombe Wanderers.
Sunderland ran out 4-0 winners against the day’s league leaders and put themselves back into promotion contention as they moved into the play-offs (Sky Sports).
Charlie Wyke got things started for the Black Cats early before Hume grabbed his first professional goal, whilst a brace from Chris Maguire ensured those in attendance at the Stadium of Light would be spending their weekend delighted.
Many of the club’s faithful took to Twitter following the final whistle to praise the 21-year-old for his goal, whilst a plethora of supporters commented on the left-back’s “outstanding” performance.
Here is just some of the reactions fans left on the social media outlet…
Chuffed to bits for the lad, had a tough start to the season but is growing in confidence with every game. Showed his mettle over the last few weeks in true Newbiggin style.
