Sunderland: Lots of fans predict Phil Parkinson’s time at the club could be coming to an end

Phil Parkinson might have only been in the Sunderland job for six games, yet the message is blatantly clear from some supporters that they want the 51-year-old manager out at the Stadium of Light.

The former Bolton Wanderers manager registered his fourth defeat in six games for the Black Cats in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night as Sunderland fell to an embarrassing 2-1 loss to Leicester’s U-21 side at home (per the Chronicle), adding fuel to the fire for Sunderland supporters who are keen to see Parkinson axed from the job despite managing just six games.
The reaction on social media towards Parkinson was fierce, with plenty of Sunderland supporters eager to see the club sack the former Bradford manager after a poor start to life at the club, with fans making some bold claims as to where the Black Cats are heading if the 51-year-old head chief remains at the helm
Here’s what some Sunderland fans had to say about Parkinson’s future on Twitter, with some supporters already predicting Parkinson’s fate at the club…
Really really poor, he wasn’t the man for me in the beginning, can’t help but think he’s gone by January!
