Sunderland will be desperate to work their way into the automatic promotion places in the near future, with Portsmouth and Barnsley only two and three points ahead of them respectively.
Jack Ross has made a name for himself at the Stadium of Light this season but there’s still a long way to go in the current campaign, with a number of teams fighting for a limited amount of places.
Although, it looks as if the League One club already have their sights set on a possible summer signing, as according to France Football (via Sport Witness), Sunderland are interested in Adam Boujamaa.
It has been reported that Adam Boujamaa has offers from League One and the Championship, with Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers interested in signing the 20-year-old.
Indeed, it’s believed that the talented youngster, who is currently contracted to Beziers, has yet to sign a professional contract, which appears to have caught the attention of Sunderland.
The youngster operates in an attacking midfield role and is very highly-rated, with the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland seemingly making offers.
It remains to be seen as to when his youth contract will run out, but it would likely be at the end of the season.
