The popularity of Sunderland’s players has fluctuated in recent times due to their results, but the club’s Twitter admin has been coming through, with an example being their response to a Tranmere Rovers fan.
They have produced another tweet that has brought plenty of pleasure to a lot of Sunderland fans, though it is about something far more important than getting their own back on an opposition fan.
This time around they have tweeted about the proposed takeover at the Stadium of Light, a situation many fans had been growing increasingly impatient about:

Many fans absolutely loved the news and the simple way it was delivered, with the tweet’s replies hosting plenty of GIFs, memes and general responses that showed how happy fans were.
With Sunderland currently sitting eighth in the league, plenty of fans have felt that something needs to be done to get closer to a place in the Championship, with Jack Ross already having been sacked and replaced by Phil Parkinson.
