With Jack Ross having been sacked by Sunderland, as confirmed on their official website, many of the club’s fans have been deliberating who the man to replace him should be.
The Scotsman managed a total of 74 games for the club, as per Transfermarkt, but was eventually dismissed with the club sixth in the table, while also having failed to keep a single league clean sheet:

While there were messages of thanks from many Sunderland fans, with others celebrating Ross’ dismissal, some were already turning their attention to who they feel should be the club’s next manager.
There have been some calls for old faces to return to the Stadium of Light, with Sam Allardyce and Roy Keane being the main ones.
In addition, some have requested managers who have shown their quality at this level, such as Daniel Stendel and Phil Parkinson to be put in charge.
One fan will likely be disappointed though, as he has called for triple Champions League winning manager Zinedine Zidane to be appointed – to be fair, if you don’t ask you don’t get.
