It’s been a dull and dismal season for Sunderland fans here in The Transfer Tavern.
Inconsistent performances and disappointing displays from certain players have had fans crying out for David Moyes to bring in some new faces.
Along with Hull City, Sunderland are the lowest scoring team in the Premier League this season. Netting twenty goals in twenty-two games, the Black Cats aren’t even averaging a goal a game.
Considering they are sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table, something has to change urgently for Sunderland to revive their season and avoid facing the drop.
So where is it all falling apart for Sunderland? It’s simple really, their attacking midfielders. With Jermain Defoe doing all the work by himself up top, it has proven that the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Didier Ndong are just not good enough if Sunderland want to kick off their winning ways.
