Sunderland: Club’s support for Koln has Black Cats fans talking

Plenty of Sunderland fans have given their thoughts on the club’s decision to support Bundesliga side FC Koln as the German league returns this coming weekend.
The coronavirus pandemic has seen football take a backseat for the last few weeks, with leagues across the world coming to a stop. With discussions over English football continuing and various reports coming out of media outlets, the Bundesliga in Germany is returning this weekend.
The league will be the first major top-flight division Europe to return, having been postponed due to the pandemic, and football fans across the world are expected to tune in and watch on as the action unfolds. Ahead of this weekend, many football fans have been deciding who they are going to support and Sunderland’s official Twitter account has revealed they are going for Koln, who sit 10th in the league standings and are just five points off a European place as things stand.
