# Leeds: ‘Real possibility’ Arnaud Kalimuendo moves to Elland Road

**There is a ‘real possibility’ Arnaud Kalimuendo will sign for [Leeds United](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/leeds-united-news/) this summer, according to journalist [Ben Jacobs](https://twitter.com/JacobsBen).**

### The Lowdown: Bid tabled

The Whites have been linked with the PSG forward for a number of weeks now, and they appear to have firmed up their interest after missing out on Charles De Ketelaere.

[Reports](https://mediafootmarseille.fr/leeds-degaine-une-offre-pour-kalimuendo-psg-info-media-foot/.html) in recent days have claimed that Victor Orta has made a ‘very good’ offer worth €20m (£16.7m) for the 20-year-old, however, PSG could hold out for a fee of around €25m (£21m).

### The Latest: Transfer update

French journalist [Hadrien Grenier](https://twitter.com/hadrien_grenier/status/1554522097870938115) relayed an update from [Jacobs](https://twitter.com/JacobsBen) regarding Kalimuendo and Leeds on Twitter, with the latter liking the post shared on Tuesday evening.

There is thought to be a ‘real possibility’ that the 20-year-old ‘will join Leeds’, with PSG chief Luis Campo happy to sell at the right price.

### The Verdict: Get it done

Leeds aren’t the only club showing an interest in the [21-goal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaud-kalimuendo/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/585959/plus/0?saison=&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) forward, with the likes of [West Ham](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-headlines-premier-league-24632634), [Newcastle](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/19207458/newcastle-transfer-bid-psg-striker-arnaud-kalimuendo/) and [Everton](https://www.footballfancast.com/everton-transfer-rumours/everton-moshiri-arnaud-kalimuendo-frank-lampard-premier-league-transfer-news-latest-update-efc-toffees) all thought to be keen.

Therefore, the Whites may want to try and push through a deal as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Reliable reporter [Phil Hay](https://theathletic.com/3464667/2022/08/01/leeds-united-rodrigo-cagliari/) has even confirmed in recent days that Leeds have had their eye on Kalimuendo, and following this latest update, it looks as if a transfer could well be on the cards in what would be a big boost with Jesse Marsch relatively short of centre-forward options.
