# Leeds: Fans praise Jack Harrison as he gets winner

**Leeds United are top of the Sky Bet Championship at the moment – though that could all change this evening as West Brom take on Bristol City tonight knowing that a win will send them back top.**

The Whites are once again looking serious promotion contenders this season as they are developing a happy knack of getting themselves late goals.

They did it against Luton to turn a draw into a win and they’ve done the same again against Reading with Jack Harrison getting the all-important goal with minutes to spare.

The winger has certainly improved a great deal already this season and has silenced many [critics](https://www.footballfancast.com/championship/leeds/leeds-fans-slam-jack-harrison-after-drawing-with-derby) – with him continuing to do so as well as he keeps contributing important moments.

It was a big goal last night, then, and fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on his showing:

> Let’s just all appreciate that run from Harrison 🏃🏻‍♂️

> All the credit to him for the extra work he put in over the summer, my god has it paid off.

> Harrison becoming a major key figure in this squad it’s becoming v hard to drop even if he was to have a bad game. Costa starting to gel as well. Slowly but surely this team is starting gear up for the second half of the season. I still think another winger/No10 in jan is key

> Fair play to him, but he was also awful for about 80 minutes tonight!

An important win in the end for Leeds and fans will hope there’s more where that came from.
