# Leeds United: Fans all agree Aleksandar Mitrovic should have been sent off

**Many Leeds United fans have all agreed that Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic should have received a red card for a late challenge on Ben White during today’s Championship clash.**

With both teams looking to get back to winning ways after defeats last week, Mitrovic was [involved in a controversial incident](https://www.skysports.com/football/leeds-vs-fulham/409811) in the opening couple of minutes at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are seeking to take advantage of West Bromwich Albion’s defeat to Brentford on Friday evening and [took an early lead](https://www.skysports.com/football/leeds-vs-fulham/409811) through Patrick Bamford.

Mitrovic has been in superb form for Fulham this season, scoring 23 Championship goals, but he could easily have taken a very early bath this afternoon after he appeared to elbow defender White.
