# Leeds United: Marcelo Bielsa provides Diego Llorente injury update

**Leeds face Wolves in their upcoming Premier League match and fans will be happy to see the latest news surrounding injury prone defender Diego Llorente.**

### The latest on Llorente

The Spaniard has had a difficult time since joining the club. However it seems like things could start to be on the up for him as Marcelo Bielsa was talking in the press conference before the game and [said](https://twitter.com/LUFC/status/1362389648820097025?s=20): “Klich and Llorente are available”.

### This is great news for Leeds

The club already have injury issues at the back with Robin Koch [currently recovering](https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php) from surgery, so Bielsa must have been frustrated when Llorente had to come off [injured](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-diego-llorente-injury-19719970) against Newcastle and hasn’t been since.

The summer signing has had loads of [injury struggles](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-llorente/profil/spieler/246291) since he signed for the club but shone in one of his two Premier League appearances for Leeds, winning nine defensive duels versus Chelsea ([SofaScore](https://www.sofascore.com/chelsea-leeds-united/JsN)).

Described as [“fantastic”](https://www.footballinsider247.com/leeds-united-la-liga-campbell-llorente/)and as a “[top player](https://twitter.com/GuillemBalague/status/1308360569553063936)” by Guillem Balague, the [£18m-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-llorente/leistungsdaten/spieler/246291) Spaniard has only [featured](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-llorente/leistungsdaten/spieler/246291) twice since his arrival, and his consistent problems will definitely be a worry for Bielsa.

It’s therefore a huge positive to hear Bielsa say he is available, and he could well find himself in the starting line-up sooner rather than later.
