### The Verdict: One for the future

With Patrick Bamford out [injured](https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php), Leeds are badly in need of an attacking spark up front, and Gelhardt could possibly be that man to come in and fill the void, having found the net [17 times in 24 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/joe-gelhardt/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/503980/verein/20116) for the Whites’ under-23s.

At 19, he remains very young and raw, but he showed on Saturday what he is capable of producing and Bielsa may feel that the teenage prodigy is a genuine first team option from this point onwards.
