# Leeds: Jack Harrison weighing up Whites future

**[Leeds United](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/leeds-united-news/) forward [Jack Harrison](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/tag/jack-harrison/) is weighing up his future at the club ahead of a potential summer exit, according to a fresh transfer update.**

### The Lowdown: Harrison rumours rife

The Whites have done some good incoming business this season, including signing American trio Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson and Weston McKennie.

In terms of the most speculation surrounding one player, however, Harrison’s future has been one of the biggest talking points, with rumours constantly [linking](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/aston-villa-news/aston-villa-nswe-could-make-jack-harrison-move/) him with a move away from Leeds.

Other recent [updates](https://twitter.com/PhilHay_/status/1621502973393395712?s=20&t=Z_QGBwoIusLNuHo4gqZVgw) have also stated that the club ‘plan’ on handing him a new deal, however, so predicting his future is tricky.

### The Latest: Attacker weighing up his future

According to [*90min*](https://www.90min.com/posts/jack-harrison-considering-leeds-future-failed-leicester-move), Harrison is currently ‘considering his future’ at Leeds, as he decides whether or not a new challenge is needed at the end of the season.

The report also states that the 26-year-old will only stay put if he feels like a valued key player by Jesse Marsch, with the ‘next few weeks’ important, in that respect.

### The Verdict: Next few months key

This upcoming period feels pivotal regarding Harrison’s Leeds future, with Marsch no doubt making it clearer what his squad role is moving forward.

In fairness, he has [started 16](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/317896/Show/Jack-Harrison) of his side’s 20 [Premier League](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league-news/) matches this season, which suggests he is an important figure, having also recently been [called](https://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/leeds-boss-marsch-full-of-praise-for-leicester-target-harrison-4445213) ‘incredible’ by his manager.

For that reason, it looks more likely that Harrison will end up committing his future to Leeds, as he looks to add to his overall tally of [30 goals and 29 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-harrison/alletore/spieler/417346) for the club.

There is always the need to keep improving as a player, though, and the Englishman could do with a more prolific second half of the season, with [just two goals](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/317896/Show/Jack-Harrison) to his name in all competitions to date.
