# Leeds: Worrying Luis Sinisterra rumour emerges

**[Leeds United](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/leeds-united-news/) attacker Luis Sinisterra has been linked with a quick-fire move away from the club, with a journalist talking up a future switch to AC Milan.**

### The Lowdown: Sinisterra impressing for Leeds

The 23-year-old made the move from Feyenoord to Elland Road earlier this summer, in what was seen as a strong piece of business after Raphinha joined Barcelona.

Sinisterra has made a promising start to life at Leeds, [scoring three goals](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/361879/Show/Luis-Sinisterra) in all competitions, including netting a key equaliser from distance in the 1-1 draw at home to Everton last month.

The Colombian’s Whites deal [doesn’t expire until](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luis-sinisterra/profil/spieler/512385) the summer of 2027 but that hasn’t stopped him from being linked with an early exit…

### The Latest: Exit claim emerges

Speaking to [*Numero Diaz*](https://www.numero-diez.com/pellegatti-mercato-milan-intervista/) \[via [*Sport Witness*](https://sportwitness.co.uk/leeds-united-new-signing-pushed-forward-champions-league-club-transfer-idea-star-leaves/)\], Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti talked up the idea of Sinsterra joining AC Milan as a replacement for Rafael Leao, who is wanted by major clubs throughout Europe:

> “If unfortunately, and let’s hope not, Leao had to leave, a player I would like and who looks a lot like him is Sinisterra, today at Leeds.”

### The Verdict: Would be a huge blow

While this is only one person’s opinion rather than a definitive transfer move, it is still worrying to see Sinisterra linked with leaving Leeds so quickly.

The hope is that the youngster is a Whites player for many years to come, filling the Raphinha-shaped void, but his head could swiftly be turned by a move to Milan, given their prestige as a club and the fact that they are playing Champions League football.

Sinisterra will hopefully see what an exciting project Leeds are, however – a club very much moving in the right direction under Jesse Marsch – and commit his long-term future to the club.
