The Leeds hero simply can’t stay fit for long periods nowadays and it is reaching the stage where his long-term value to the Whites may even be up for debate.

At 29, Bamford isn’t getting any younger, and if these [injury problems](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-bamford/verletzungen/spieler/183334) persist, it may be time to start thinking about signing replacements and eventually phasing him out of the team.
