# Leeds United: Adam Forshaw set to miss Sheffield Wednesday clash through injury

**Adam Forshaw is set to miss Leeds United’s match against Sheffield Wednesday through injury, as reported by the club’s [official channels](https://twitter.com/LUFC/status/1187348326615863296).**

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed in his press conference that the 28-year-old is not yet ready to make a return from his groin injury.

While the burden from this is eased by the fact that Shackleton is returning, having Forshaw unavailable for the Sheffield Wednesday game is still a blow for Leeds.

When his start to the season before the groin injury is considered, it definitely would have been useful to have the 28-year-old as an option.
