# Leeds United: Club interested in Adama Traore

**The January transfer window is approaching rapidly and Leeds United have been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.**

### The latest on Traore

It was reported by Graeme Bailey [that](https://twitter.com/GraemeBailey/status/1341438662907719680?s=20) Adama Traore is ready to leave Wolves in January as he has become increasingly frustrated with life at Molineux. A lot of clubs are interested, including Leeds as their Director of Football, Victor Orta, loves him after signing him for Middlesbrough.

### This would be a brilliant signing

The 24 year-old is known for his great strength and pace and such assets could be ideal in a Marcelo Bielsa side. This season in his 14 appearances in the Premier League (seven from the bench), the Spaniard has managed 1.3 key passes and 3.4 successful dribbles ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/140088/Show/Adama-Traor%C3%A9)) per game.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised the winger on many occasions, one time he [said:](https://tribuna.com/en/liverpoolfc/news/2020-01-24-he-is-unplayable-jurgen-klopp-heaps-praise-on-adama-traore/) “He is unplayable in moments, it’s unbelievable.” Another time, Klopp [said](https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/liverpool/news/jurgen-klopp-full-of-praise-for-big-big-talent-adama-traore_384267.html): “”(He is) a big, big talent.”

The fact that it seems like he wants to leave Wolves is also a bonus, as it might be easier for Leeds to get him. The link with Orta also helps massively and it would not be surprising to see a move come to fruition in the January transfer window.
