# Leeds United: Fans aren’t happy with Kemar Roofe rumours

**While the news that Marcelo Bielsa was going to stay at Leeds United was a major boost following the disappointment of the play-offs, a transfer-related worry has recently emerged.**

> Roofe to Glasgow Rangers definitely has legs. [#lufc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/lufc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

According to BBC reporter Adam Pope, the Whites could potentially wave goodbye to Kemar Roofe as the journalist claims that a move for the Elland Road ace to Rangers in Scotland ‘definitely has legs’. Indeed, claims in regards to a potential deal have also emerged from the [Scottish Sun](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4454549/rangers-leeds-kemar-roofe-alfredo-morelos-transfer-news/) and [Football Insider.](https://www.footballinsider247.com/ibrox-sources-rangers-open-preliminary-talks-to-sign-centre-forward-for-multi-million-fee/)

The 26-year-old Walsall-born attacker recorded his best goalscoring season in a Leeds United shirt last season, bagging 15 goals for the Whites in all competitions, with 14 of those coming in the Championship as he helped his side to a 3rd place finish.

Still, the player does only have one year left on his current deal (per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kemar-roofe/profil/spieler/141350)) and is [thought](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4454549/rangers-leeds-kemar-roofe-alfredo-morelos-transfer-news/) to have been identified by Rangers director of football Mark Allen as a potential replacement for Alfredo Morelos if the Gers sell the Colombian.
