# Leeds United: Fans blast Marcelo Bielsa after the Argentine confirms team news for Saturday

**If you were to choose two players who are criticised the most by Leeds United fans at the moment, then perhaps you’d turn to [Patrick Bamford](https://thisisfutbol.com/2020/02/twitter/leeds-fans-react-to-bamford-stats/) and [Kiko Casilla](https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/too-many-let-offs-these-leeds-united-fans-react-to-teammates-view-on-kiko-casilla/). So, it’s no surprise that supporters were fuming with the team news Marcelo Bielsa revealed ahead of the club’s fixture against Bristol City this weekend.**

In his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against the Robins, the Argentine confirmed that both Casilla and Bamford would be starting for the Whites this Saturday [(via Phil Hay)](https://twitter.com/PhilHay_/status/1227936406984675328).

To say both men have been in poor form recently would be something of an understatement. The former Real Madrid man has a save percentage of just [47.4%](https://twitter.com/LUFCDATA/status/1227586684218417152) since the draw against Cardiff City; meanwhile, the former Middlesbrough forward has scored just two goals in his last eight Championship appearances [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-bamford/leistungsdaten/spieler/183334).

Fans have taken to Twitter to vent their fury at the comments made by their manager. Here is a selection of tweets:

> Stubborness always gets more intense when put under pressure. Support for Kiko is unconditional. For all Bielsa’s talent, this is his biggest weakness, faith over reason.

> First time I’ve ever doubted Bielsa is over this blind, unwavering, hard to justify loyalty to his underperforming & costly GK

> No justification for playing Casilla, ridiculous decision. Can only hope the FA ban the clown.
