# Leeds United: Fans laud Danny Cowley after his comments on Marcelo Bielsa

**Leeds United fans have been purring over comments made by Huddersfield Town manager Danny Cowley on Marcelo Bielsa.**

The former Lincoln City manager said that he thinks the Whites will achieve promotion this season, claiming the Argentine has the players on ‘remote control’.

One fan took to Twitter to appreciate the 41-year-old, claiming he’ll go a long way during his time with Huddersfield.

> Smart manager Cowley tbh think he’ll go along way ..

Leeds fell short of their promotion target last season after they lost to Frank Lampard’s Derby County in the semi-final of the play-offs.

However, they seem to be well on their way to achieving automatic promotion this season after they opened up an eight-point gap on third-placed Fulham over the weekend.

The Whites came out on top in the Yorkshire derby against Cowley’s side; meanwhile, Scott Parker’s men lost 2-1 at home to Bristol City.

Some fans were full of praise for the manager as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:

> Well appreciated Danny Cowley
