The former Real Madrid man hasn’t always been a fan favourite among the Elland Road faithful, who slated him following his [performance against Charlton Athletic](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/championship/leeds-united/leeds-united-fans-slate-kiko-casilla-after-charlton-defeat/) this season.

The game against the Addicks wasn’t without controversy as he was charged by the FA over a racist incident with Charlton’s Jonathan Leko [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50394191).

Fans were left lauding the 33-year-old following his save from Kachunga as they took to Twitter to react.
