# Leeds United: Fans name Ben White as the best youngster in the Championship

**Leeds United fans have been naming defender Ben White as the best young player in the Championship after they were asked the question by Sky Sports.**

\[freshpress-poll id=”267473″\]

After the British broadcasters asked fans of the second division who the best youngster was, Leeds fans were unanimous in their voting for the on-loan Brighton and Hove Albion man.

White has enjoyed a super season with the Yorkshire club, resulting in links with moves to Premier League giants [Chelsea](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10553083/chelsea-january-switch-ben-white-leeds-brighton/), [Manchester United](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-man-united-set-sights-on-leeds-duo/) and [Liverpool](https://theathletic.co.uk/1384972/2019/11/20/a-white-wall-how-bielsa-built-the-football-leagues-meanest-defence-around-a-22-year-old-who-is-tempting-liverpool/).

Manager Marcelo Bielsa has been more than complimentary of the player, claiming he is maintaining a good level of performance over a ‘long period’ [(via Leeds Live)](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-liverpool-analysis-live-17177105).

Leeds will be pleased after it emerged that his parent club will not be recalling White early from his loan spell [(via Football Insider)](https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-major-ben-white-transfer-development/).

Fans were adamant that White is the best young player in the Championship as they took to Twitter to react.
