# Leeds United: Fans tear into Jarrod Bowen for his performance in Hull City’s loss to the Whites

**Leeds United fans were tearing in Jarrod Bowen after the attacker’s performance in Hull City’s 2-0 loss away to the Whites, just days after calling to sign him.**

The talented winger has been on fire this season as he is second in the Championship with 15 goals, behind Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has 16 [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jumplist/torschuetzenliste/wettbewerb/GB2).

Bowen was the scourge of Leeds last season after he scored a brace to consign the side to a 2-0 defeat in the same exact fixture [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46656335).

However, the Englishman was anonymous yesterday as he managed no shots on target and was dispossessed four times during the 90 minutes [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1381569/LiveStatistics/England-Championship-2019-2020-Leeds-Hull).

His good form has seen him being linked with a move to Marcelo Bielsa’s side with reports in [the Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-6533237/Leeds-plotting-January-Hull-forward-Jarrod-Bowen-replacement-Samu-Saiz.html) having claimed the Yorkshire side were plotting a move for the 22-year-old last season. Fans also said they [wanted to sign him](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/championship/leeds-united/leeds-united-fans-highlight-hull-citys-jarrod-bowen-as-one-player-theyd-take-from-rivals/) earlier this week.

They have done a complete U-turn on the Tigers winger now though, with a couple highlighting Gaetano Berardi’s role in Bowen’s struggles last night…
