Presenter and YouTuber Conor McGlligan has shared comments from Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani in regards to the club’s search for a new manager.

The Lowdown: Radrizzani’s post

Radrizzani has been active on social media following the decision to part ways with Jesse Marsch on Monday. The Italian was hoping to finalise a move for Marsch’s successor and have 'white smoke' by Wednesday morning in a post which has since been deleted.

As we know, the Whites are still on the hunt for a long-term replacement after failed moves for Raul, Carlos Corberan and Andoni Iraola.

The Latest: After the weekend…

McGlligan, presenter of One Leeds Fan Channel, took to Twitter in the last 48 hours, receiving a response from Radrizzani in regards to a new manager.

He ‘asked the owner’ if a manager was set to arrive before Saturday, with Radrizzani stating an arrival wouldn’t be until after the weekend.

The Verdict: Key days

It looks as if the club’s search for a manager will hit the seven-day mark on Monday, and it is key that the club bring in the correct candidate after taking a full week covering two important fixtures.

Reports have stated that the club could even look at interim options if they fail to land any of their top targets, something which may have to be explored if no progress is made over the coming days.

Hopefully, we will find out who will fill the Elland Road vacancy relatively soon, with Michael Skubala, Chris Armas and Paco Gallardo set to take charge of the return meeting with Manchester United on Sunday.
