Reliable journalist Phil Hay has confirmed that Tyler is still missing through injury ahead of Leeds United's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

The Lowdown: Huge test for Leeds

Jesse Marsch's side host the reigning champions on Saturday evening, in what is a massive test of their credentials against arguably Europe's best team.

City are gunning for another league crown but the match is equally important for Leeds, who are not yet clear of the relegation zone, ahead of a tense finale to the season.

Frankly, anything other than a defeat would feel like a bonus for the Whites but they must still believe that a positive result is possible.

The Latest: Roberts ruled out

Taking to Twitter, Hay has shared the "injury latest" from Thorp Arch ahead of the game, confirming that Roberts will play no part in proceedings on Saturday:

"Roberts still on the way back."

The Wales international has missed the last seven matches with a thigh injury.

The Verdict: Played his last game?

Should Roberts not recover from this current setback, it could be that his last-ever appearance for Leeds was the 1-0 defeat away to Leicester City back in early March.

There has been speculation surrounding the Welshman's future at Elland Road, despite being described as 'very very talented' by Tony Pulis, and he could struggle for regular time moving forward.

Marsch may want a proper opportunity to assess Roberts during the summer, however, at which point he could decide whether or not he wants to keep hold of him.

In other news, Leeds will 'definitely' sign a player in one key area this summer. Read more here.
