Leeds United youngster Cody Drameh's future at Elland Road is still up in the air currently, according to a new update from reliable journalist Phil Hay.

The Lowdown: Drameh linked with exit

There is much focus on potential incomings at Leeds during the January transfer window, but outgoings are also possible in the coming weeks.

One player who has been linked with a move away from the Whites is Drameh, who has been limited to just one Premier League and EFL Cup appearance apiece this season.

There is no guarantee that he is leaving, however, and now a new update has emerged.

The Latest: Hay provides update

Taking to Twitter on Friday night, Hay praised Drameh as a player but accepted that his situation is up in the air:

"Drameh. Clearly wants to play more but there's something to be made of him. Has talent. Interesting to see what Leeds do next month."

The Verdict: Keep hold of him?

It is a tricky situation for Leeds, with Drameh clearly a talented young footballer - one who has been hailed as 'excellent' by Steve Morison in the past.

The problem is, Jesse Marsch cannot promise the 21-year-old regular playing time, which has the potential to stunt his growth as a player if he stays put.

It could be that a move away is best for all parties, unless Marsch sees him as someone who can genuinely play a squad role moving forward, rather than simply playing once every few months.
