Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is an injury doubt for the Whites' Premier League meeting against Tottenham today, according to journalist Phil Hay.

The Lowdown: Leeds travel to face Spurs

Jesse Marsch's side are still buoyant after dramatic back-to-back league wins over Liverpool and Bournemouth, as they look to turn their season around following a dismal autumn.

This afternoon, Leeds make the trip to north London for an eye-catching clash prior to a six-week break in club action owing to the World Cup.

There are injury problems for the Whites ahead of the match, however, with Mateusz Klich and Patrick Bamford among those who are ruled out.

The Latest: Harrison could miss out

Taking to Twitter, Hay claimed that Harrison is another who could be absent for Leeds, as the 25-year-old struggles with a muscle problem.

The Athletic journalist tweeted prior to the game:

"Harrison is a doubt with a muscle strain."

The Verdict: Big miss for Leeds

Harrison has enjoyed another good season so far for Leeds, being hailed as a 'phenomenal' player by YouTuber Conor McGilligan earlier in the campaign.

The 25-year-old has three assists to his name in the league in 2022/23, and whilst one goal isn't a great return for a winger at this stage of the season, there is no doubt that he would be a miss on Saturday.

Harrison's pace and directness could cause issues for a Spurs team not firing on all cylinders - if he isn't available, the pressure could be on youngsters Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto to deliver, with the former already bailing Leeds out recently by scoring late winners against Liverpool and Bournemouth.
