Leeds contact Ryan Kent’s representatives

Leeds United have been in contact with the representatives of Rangers winger Ryan Kent, Football Insider report.
The Lowdown: Kent’s season so far
Kent, who was labelled as ‘sensational’ by his former manager Steven Gerrard, has been a regular on the left-hand side at Ibrox this season.
The 26-year-old has made 38 appearances in all competitions, contributing to 11 goals. All of his goals or assists have come in the Scottish Premiership, where he has been the club’s third-best performer to make five or more starts, as per WhoScored.
The Latest: Leeds update
Football Insider shared a transfer update regarding Kent on Monday, with the player on course to become a free agent in the summer.
They said that Leeds have registered their interest in the winger, making contact with Kent’s camp ahead of a potential free transfer.
The Verdict: Harrison replacement?
Leeds can actually finalise a pre-contract agreement right now with Kent, who could be viewed as a possible replacement for Jack Harrison.
The Whites were close to selling Harrison to Leicester City in January, and the Leeds man will be into the final 12 months of his Elland Road deal in the summer.
A new contract is yet to be signed, with Harrison coming in for criticism in the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on the weekend under Javi Gracia. Therefore, Leeds may see Kent as a possible replacement for Harrison, so it could be one to keep an eye on over the coming months.
