Andrea Radrizzani has shed light on some potentially exciting plans for the future of Leeds United.

This comes after it was revealed that 49ers Enterprises have acquired more stake in the Yorkshire club, taking their ownership stake up to 37% in total, though Radrizzani remains Leeds’ majority shareholder.

What has Radrizzani said about the future of Leeds United?

Per the Whites’ official website, club owner Radrizzani has been sharing excitement over this new investment from 49ers Enterprises, indicating that he believes the group will help Leeds to make progress towards their long-term goals.

On the topic of Leeds United’s long-term goals, the Italian businessman went on to say that “there is no better time to be looking ahead to the future” than the present before he went on to discuss his plans for taking the Yorkshire club to “the next level.”

He explained that “the next level” for Leeds will see them establish themselves as a Premier League side, with the club returning to the top flight for the first time in 16 years this term, following their Championship-winning 2019/20 campaign, before going on to pursue their goal of playing in Europe for the first time since 2003

Considering how long Leeds were absent from England’s top-flight and have been absent from European football, we feel that it has got to be exciting for fans of the Yorkshire club to see that their owner is seemingly so ambitious and determined to get the club competing at the top level once again.

Knowing how positive Radrizzani seemingly is about 49ers Enterprises increasing their stake in the club, perhaps that should be an encouraging development for Whites fans too and it will be interesting to see how much progress Leeds can make towards achieving their goal of competing at the top end of the Premier League table over the coming years, with Leeds currently sitting in 12th place on the table in their first Premier League season for 16 years.
