Phil Hay has insisted that Jesse Marsch is starting to feel the pressure at Leeds United.
The Lowdown: Leeds stuck in a rut
After a very bright start to the season which saw Leeds go unbeaten in their opening four games, Marsch is now in need of his side to find a positive result from somewhere to get them out of this poor run of results.
As things stand, Leeds have not won since November 5th when they beat Bournemouth at home and in turn, have gone five games since the World Cup break finished without a victory.
This has put them in the thick of a treacherous relegation battle and one that Marsch won't likely want to repeat after having to rely on a final-day win to ensure they stayed in the Premier League.
The Latest: Pressure starting to get to Marsch
While speaking on The Phil Hay Show, Hay has claimed that he believes Marsch is starting to feel the pressure after what he saw at Elland Road on Wednesday evening.
He said: (5:50) "It was interesting I thought that Marsch wasn't especially delighted with the first half or the way they played until they went 2-1 down.
"He was talking a lot yesterday about needing to bring more bravery out of the football that Leeds are playing, and talked again more about wanting Leeds to be the team I know they can be as he put it.
"I think quite a lot of what's been said by him, certainly since the World Cup break, but actually after a few of the games prior to it, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Spurs as well, I would say he is feeling the pressure I would say its definitely affecting him."

The Verdict: Marsch needs a thick skin
If Marsch is starting to feel the pressure now just 18 games into the Premier League campaign, his side aren't in the bottom three and just recently had a long hiatus from club football, he could be set for a very long second half of the season.
This is because if Leeds fail to pick up positive results, specifically in the league, then unrest on the terraces and within the general fanbase will only grow louder the longer he fails to get a tune out of his team.
The American was handed a tough task last season replacing Marcelo Bielsa and having to work with a squad that had none have his markings on it, but now having been handed eight new signings since joining the club, he has to be doing better than just four league victories this term.
