Leeds United target Noa Lang is ‘very aware’ of the Premier League club’s interest but they will face competition for his signature, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Lowdown: £30m required

The Club Brugge winger still has three years remaining on his contract at the Jan Breydel Stadium but has been attracting attention following his impressive performances under Carl Hoefkens.

The Whites have been credited with an admiration for the 23-year-old - in fact Victor Orta has been a fan since summer 2021 - with reports suggesting that it would now cost £30m to secure his services in the New Year.

The Latest: Lang in the loop

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones confirmed that Leeds have indeed held a long-standing interest in Lang, and revealed the player and his camp are completely in the loop on the links.

“Leeds have been hot on Lang for ages and he’s very aware of their interest. But Everton are looking for creative options, so that might be something to look out for.”

The Verdict: Get it done…

Leeds could hold the advantage in the race for Lang given their long-term interest, and the hierarchy should splash the cash if they want to fend off their competitors to get this deal over the line.

The Dutchman has posted a remarkable 60 goal contributions in just 102 appearances for Club Brugge and is a versatile player with the ability to operate in three different positions (Transfermarkt).

Jesse Marsch’s outfit are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements to get them away from the relegation zone, and Lang would be the perfect candidate to come in and do just that at Elland Road.
