Leeds United: Marathe drops future claim

Paraag Marathe, who is the President of 49ers Enterprises, has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Leeds United.
This comes after it emerged that 49ers Enterprises have increased their stake in Leeds United to 37%.
Marathe’s new role at Leeds United
Per the club’s official website, the 49ers Enterprises President had previously just been a board member of the Yorkshire club, but now, he’s taking on a new role as Vice Chairman following this development concerning the club’s ownership, which sees Andrea Radrizzani remain the majority shareholder.
Marathe’s exciting comments
The new Leeds Vice Chairman has outlined some plans for the future of the Yorkshire club, sharing that 49ers Enterprises have found their time involved with Leeds “exhilarating.”
He explained that this group will now play “an even bigger role” in the club moving forward and went on to say that the group will be increasing their investment in the Whites to help Leeds United to get to the point where they are competing “for championships against the best football clubs in the world.”

So, based on what the new Leeds Vice Chairman had to say, it seems like fans of the Whites could expect to see this group, headed by Marathe, play a key role in helping their club to continue rising up the ranks in English football.
