The latest reports suggest that Leeds United are ready to battle to sign Manor Solomon, who has thrived in the Champions League this season.
The latest on Manor Solomon
According to OnlineGooner, Leeds are showing more determination to land the Israeli starlet than Arsenal, who are monitoring the situation.
This could be an exciting signing for Leeds
The 21 year-old has impressed for both Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine in his last 23 appearances, scoring six goals and picking up one assist (WhoScored). In six Nations League games, he has managed a whopping 5.2 successful dribbles a game on average.
Two of his Shakhtar goals came in the Champions League this campaign – they were crucial goals too with both coming in the two victories his side had against Real Madrid. Across 106 minutes of action against Madrid, he produced an 100% conversion rate by scoring from his only two shots and completed six dribbles, terrorising the La Liga giants’ defence.
If he could do this on a consistent basis he would be a very good signing for Leeds. The fact that Leeds and Arsenal are both looking at the player highlights that he definitely has some potential to play in England. Under Marcelo Bielsa, it would be very likely that he can reach the potential that these sides believe he has.
