Phil Hay has dropped a quite worrying update on Tyler Roberts after he tweeted that he will be ‘missing again’ for Leeds United versus Crawley Town.
The Wales international has not played in the Elland Road faithful’s last four games in the Premier League, and the fact that he will not feature against the EFL League Two team in the FA Cup suggests that he could be on his way out of the door in this month’s window.
Should Leeds keep Roberts?
The 21 year-old has been linked with a move away in January, and the fact that he will play no part in the match tomorrow afternoon is a pretty worrying sign that he could be on the move.
However, Marcelo Bielsa revealed in his pre-game press conference that Roberts is a ‘very important’ player for the Yorkshire club and added that he has always been in the Argentine’s plans.
Nonetheless, it is worrying that Roberts will play no part against Crawley considering that he has not featured in the Whites’ last four games and has been linked with a move away.
Roberts is a handy back-up to have for Bamford
Roberts is a handy back-up striker to have for Partick Bamford just in case the latter finds himself injured or out of form for a sustained period of time.
Thus, it may be a wise idea for the Peacocks to try and keep hold of him in this window.
