Leeds United have picked up two very strong wins to push them up the table. So far this season, they have shown that their squad looks to be of Premier League standard. However, they could still bring in more players in the January transfer window and Phil Hay has provided an update on their winter window plans.

The journalist for The Athletic heard from Marcelo Bielsa following the emphatic victory against West Bromwich Albion. According to Phil Hay, Bielsa spoke about January and said: “If there’s a player who can clearly improve us then that would be a good thing for the club.”
Hay then said: “Eyes open, in other words, but no pressure”

Bielsa has proven that he should be trusted as he has managed to get the club back into England’s top flight and he has them competing well. Most of his summer signings have been doing well, with players like Raphinha, Rodrigo and Robin Koch all performing to a high standard.
Therefore, the fact that Leeds are keeping an eye on the window but are not pressured to buy should definitely please all associated with the club.
