Leeds United have reportedly been in contact with Fiorentina, asking for information on versatile defender Igor Julio, known simply as ‘Igor’.

Igor is 24 years of age and is primarily a centre-back but can also turn out on the left-hand side if required. The Brazilian made a permanent move to Fiorentina from SPAL back in 2021 and has made 88 appearances for his current employers.

Jesse Marsch is fairly well-stocked at the back, especially after signing Max Wober earlier this month, with the Austrian capable of turning out as a centre-back or left-back.
Yes, the club have leaked goals this season, conceding 33 times in 19 Premier League games, but bringing in Igor, who hasn’t performed as well as Leeds’ current options, might not be a wise move.
